Responsibilities:
Oracle Installation and recommendation for new installations.
SAP Database support knowledge
Knowledge on SAP Database cloning and backup
Migrating SAP databases on different platforms.
Worked on Production systems
Experience with Database Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching
Datacenter understanding
Knowledge of Other RDBMS is a Plus
Knowledge on BRTOOLS, BRBACKUP, BRARCHIVE is must.
Knowledge and troubleshooting of Backup issues related to Business copy
Should possess very good communication skills both in verbal and email writing.
Strong knowledge on Unix Scripting.
Experience in Using Quest Foglight for Oracle tool for Monitoring.
Must have knowledge on HP Service guard w.r.t. Oracle Database for High Availability.
Strong experience in Performance Tuning and finding bottlenecks.
Strong knowledge on Dataguard and SAP databases.
Strong knowledge on Golden Date and SAP databases.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on SAP databases replication and migration
Certification requirements
Oracle Certified Proffessional (OCP) 10g/11g/12c
