Position Title: Business Analyst (AS400)

Duration: 6+ Months

Location: Rocklin, CA

Responsibilities

Hardware  : IBM AS/400

Operating System : OS/400

Languages  : RPG/400, CL/400, DB2/400, RPLLE, CLLE, JDE World Query : SQL/400, QUERY/400

·         Works closely with Business users to discover, document, and maintain a set of requirements.

·         Creates and maintain the Technical Specification Documents, Test Case Documents and Functional Specification Documents for the system requirements.

·         Analyze the system specifications and translate system requirements to the task specifications for junior programmers.

·         Provide assistance to the Testers and Support personnel as needed to determine the system problems

·         Estimate requirement related Tasks

·         Involve in Impact analysis, Design and Coding

·         Work as a primary contact for production support system

·         Onsite / offshore coordination

·         Responsible for ticket handling, assignment and SLA

·         Able to proactively suggest continuous improvements.
