Explanation for Position:

This position is being opened to acquire a SUPP staff quickly for Tundra workload

required for development of the Global Sort Plan System needed to open the Ontario

Hub.

Details of Position:

This position requires server side development for a suite of web based applications

that also support an interface with mobile devices. The application is based on a

Spring framework with an Oracle database hosted on a Web logic application server.

The client side is comprised of mobile terminal application developed in C# that

communicates with the server with web services and a web application using JSP's.

The candidate requires experience with Java, Spring, Oracle, Hibernate, Eclipse and

JSP development. The primary responsibilities include the creation of design

documentation, software development and unit testing, integration testing with other

developers.

Management Skills:

The candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills to be able to

understand and convey technical solutions with other developers; the ability to plan

and prioritize personal tasks to meet project deadlines; a working knowledge of

Microsoft Office Suite.
