The BA must also be experienced in working within state and federal projects. They will need to show a strong track record of success in working with a large group of stakeholders to provide results and support the PM throughout the life of the project.
Business Process Modeling
• Experience with creating work flows, process improvements and facilitating process engagements
• Document business processes using industry modeling tools
• Identify and consult with clients on recommended changes in client work processes as appropriate to ensure the best software solution for the client’s needs.
•The qualities of a balance between technical analysis and interpersonal skills is a must.
•Excellent written and oral communications skills are required. Candidates will be asked to provide examples of the past work products.
•Candidates will need to provide examples of past analysis work and describe the tools they use in the analysis process.
Requirements Gathering:
• Experience in large enterprise level projects writing software application requirements
• Mentors others on BA practices and procedures
• Able to work cross functionally and view the organization as a comprehensive system of interrelated processes.
• Works with little direction and supervision, timely completion of projects, makes time for unplanned assignments, adapts to changing priorities
• Advanced research, analytical and strategic thinking skills and experience in the technical environment involving performing advanced data/gap analysis with outstanding problem solving experience anticipating and resolving root issues of new and the most complex problems.
