Sr Software Engineer who is interested in joining a team of highly competent software engineers focused on building highly scalable event/message driven services. You will have the skills and experience to create detailed software architectures and deliver production level code on schedule. You will be part of a team with an open, success driven culture where you can apply your expertise and learn from a highly talented set of peers.

Responsibilities:

·         Strong passion for building new, scalable, robust, software

·         Design and develop large-scale, distributed system and services

·         Develop robust data storage solutions around SQL and/or NoSQL databases

·         Develop web services with RESTful APIs

·         Operate within an agile development environment

·         Support a devops style management

Qualification:

·         Proficient in one or more of: C, C++, Go, Java, Clojure, Scala, JavaScript, Python

·         Experience with big data technologies such as: MapReduce/Hadoop/Storm/Kafka

·         Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, Redis

·         High degree of competency working in a Linux/Unix environment

·         Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, OpenStack (preferred)

·         Familiarity with isolation features such as Linux Containers or Virtual Machines

·         Experience using Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Test Automation

·         Tools Experience: debuggers, scripting, Git, cross compilers

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills
