Role:C# .Net Developer
Currently seeking a C#.Net Developer to provide core support of baggage scanning applications for our major client. The qualified candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in design, development and implementation of large-scale critical projects. Ideal candidate will be able to provide support for complex real-time and high-availability systems. Qualified candidate will have at least 1-2 years' experience working on C# programs running on handheld devices using CE or Windows Mobile OS (Symbol/Motorola/Psion devices would be a plus). This position is located in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities / Requirements:
•Degree in a Technology discipline preferred.
•5+ years of experience in design, development and implementation of large-scale critical projects.
•Ability to support for complex real-time and high-availability systems.
•The Developer is responsible for leading the design, development, testing, debugging, maintaining and documenting software components in accordance to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
•Resource will be part of baggage scanning development team providing core support for Uscan and COBRA applications and participating in new development initiatives.
•C#, .NET 2003, Embedded CE5.0, Subversion, Visual Studio .NET, OOP, Events, Subclassing.
•1-2 years' experience working on C# programs running on handheld devices using CE or Windows Mobile OS (Symbol/Motorola/Psion devices would be a plus).
•Good understanding of Wi-Fi environments and automated Wi-Fi configuration of mobile devices.
•Comfortable in C# debugging environment using cradled handheld devices.
•Able to work with a complex Visual Basic version 6 program that interacts with host systems.
•Strong technical and problem-solving skills, proactive attitude.
•Ability to engage internal/external resources.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
