Responsibilities:
• Independent charge of project ensuring customer deliverables are met on time with agreed quality
• Coordinate independently with key stakeholders, Infrastructure, BA, PM, Development
• Follow the Project Management methodology and Quality processes and procedures
• Ensure continuous 24x7 operation and availability of Oracle Databases
• Monitoring of the DBs and applications components, proactive provisions on the environment, restore the service in case of incidents, work with the SMEs (subject matter expert) on the level 3 issues in case of bug or specific technology stack issues
• Work with DBA and infrastructure team on the upgrades, patches, clones and resolution of cross functional issues
• Perform system/database monitoring, query performance tuning, analysis, sizing and capacity planning, backup and recovery, including recovery test execution
• Provide support to the Functional and Development teams during the build and implementation phases
• Advance monitoring and support backend environments - implement changes to improve robustness, performance and smooth operations
• Coordinate and Maintain OS level scripts (i.e., Unix Shell) for system DB maintenance
• Participate to the maintenance of global converging Oracle solutions architecture and standard procedures within the Global DBA team
• Maintain Disaster Recovery Site and participate/lead DR Testing
• Participate and adhere to FDA, SOX and similar Audit guidelines set by clients IT Quality
