Architect for model and application design in Cognos Planning 8.4 and Cognos 10. Experience in TM1 is added benefit.

Job Description: The ideal candidate will have strong Cognos Enterprise Planning skills and working knowledge of databases.

Major Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and maintenance support of Cognos planning applications including routine model changes, data loads, rollovers, validations & troubleshooting. Also develop new Planning models and applications using Analyst & Contributor respectively.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 5+ years experience in Cognos EP 10 and higher, specifically with Model Building.

Understanding of the Contributor Admin Console, especially e-Lists, access tables, security, Table-only Publish and Admin Extension functionality.

Knowledge and experience in implementing user level and data level securities within Cognos Planning Contributor applications.

Routine maintenance of models and applications on COGNOS EP.

Experience authoring Cognos Planning technical requirements and design documents for business applications.

Working knowledge and experience in Windows 2003 server administration

Good understanding of various database platforms, including Oracle, and MS SQL.

Strong understanding of Cognos EP system architecture and technology infrastructure is a plus.

Extensive experience with MS Excel, spreadsheet presentation, and financial modeling

EP -BI integration experience is a plus

Aptitude and interest in datawarehouse. SQL query & ETL experience is a plus

Excellent communications, presentation skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organization on a regular basis.

Takes direction well but must work independently, Team player, strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills.
