Six plus years of experience in Unix administration/C/Batch/Autosys • Unix administrative experience • Experience in a Health Care business environment. • Experience with Medicaid regulations and business processes. • Understand the day to day working and inter-relationships between all the components of the applications (online, transaction, batch). • Design, and maintain, optimize the Batch cycles to meet the requirements of the various applications, including integration. • Understand, the changes and performance across the applications to drive RTI and ensure performance • Manage the day to day batch operations (not monitoring), to ensure cycle pre/co reqs are defiend, understood, and implemented • Work with the various application teams, to ensure that the restarts of batch are performed correctly, and documentation is available to the cycle monitors • Make sure on call for batch from applications is maintained. • Own/maintain the cycles, diagrams, etc., including the definitions in AutoSys (Batch Scheduling Application) • In some instances, also maintain and are responsible for the Autosys applications, including vendor patching, backups, configuration, and administration (e.g. userids, etc.) Regards Ram sram@smart-itstaffing.com
