Greetings!

Our Direct Client has an urgent requirement for "Windows System Engineer" for their Long term project in "Portsmouth, NH"  

Title: Windows System Engineer

Location: Portsmouth, NH

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:

We need candidates who have done “Windows 2003 to 2008 migration/upgrade, domain and forest level” in the last two projects.

• Install a computer with ADPRAP (or similar) utility to check the domain health

• Collect ADRAP (or similar) information and Collect infrastructure information

• Analyze Information and prepare health reports and action reports

• Depending on Action Reports, Solve existing domain health incidents

• Pre-Upgrade tasks (Backups, notify involved departments, …)

• Installation of 3 new Domain Controllers and removal of the old ones

• Forest / Domain Upgrade

• Installation of a temporal Domain Controller

• Domain Role Movement to the newly installed Domain Controller

• Removal of one of the Cansas domain controllers (The secondary one)

• New Domain Controller Installation with the same name and IP of the recently removed one

• Removal of the other Windows 2003 Cansas domain controller

• New Domain Controller Installation with the same name and IP of the recently removed one

• Domain Role Movement to the newly installed Domain Controller

• Removal of the temporal Domain Controller

• Post-Upgrade tasks.
