Position: Autosys Consultant

Location: Cupertino, CA

Duration: 6 months

Job Description:

Provide Autosys application administration expertise (including environment installation, configuration, and management, etc).

Requires knowledge of the enterprise infrastructure as well as the nature and schedule of the business applications that are supported within the enterprise.

The ability to work in a highly organized manner with detail and accuracy while meeting deadlines and balancing multiple tasks.

Collaborate with developers and functional specialists in configuring and improving our systems and processes.

Review vendor software updates; analyze need and benefit of updates; plan and manage the installation of these updates on schedule in partnership with developers and customers.

Solid understanding of job scheduling in an enterprise environment. Assist in troubleshooting issues with scheduled jobs.

Review major implementations for production requirements.

Investigate, analyze, design, develop and implement operational disciplines/guidelines, processes and procedures related to migrations

Some experience working with application programming and scripting languages, preferably Perl and Linux shell scripting.

Process Automation and Scripting – Unix

Strong analytical skills, high level of responsibility and accountability.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment and occasionally work outside of regular business hours for critical issues
