Role: NetApp Storage Administrator
Location: East Hanover, NJ
Duration: 6+ months

Primary Skills : Netapps Storage administrator L3, Veritas Netbackup Administration , NDMP experience and NetApp experience, Netbackup, TSM or Legato Networker, LUN mapping/creation, F/C Switch Configs and Zoning

Job Description:                   

Technical Requirements            

·         Working knowledge on Veritas Netbackup Administration 

·         NDMP experience and NetApp experience.

·         Hands-on Experience with Netbackup, TSM or Legato Networker would be a plus

·         Good Exposure on Monitoring and Replication Strategies

·         Strong Storage concepts on LUN mapping/creation, F/C Switch Configs  and Zoning

·         Windows and/ or  UNIX administration, 

·         SAN administration  

·         Zoning and diagnostic skills.

·         TSM on AIX

Soft Skills  
           

·         Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)

·         Good documentation skills

·         Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)

·         Should have a great customer handling skills

·         Able to handle unforeseen situations

·         High level of acceptance

Other Skills / Experience
            

·         Worked on Production systems

·         Datacenter understanding            

·         Experience with Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching

·         Storage Management Techniques

Familiarity with :

·         IP Network

·         WAN and LAN free (SAN) based data backup design and configuration

·         Data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as

·         using virtual tape

·         disk to disk to tape

·         data replication

·         File System and Database Familiarity

Years of Experience            

·         Total        :  5-6 Years of experience

·         Relavant :    Minimum of 3 yrs in Hitachi Storage Administration / Support

·         Minimum 1 year working knowledge on Veritas NetBackup Administration 

·         Minimum 2 years experience on Unix and/or Windows systems administration

Certification requirements            

·         Storage Certification / ITIL

Education requirements             

·         Bachelors / Masters / Equivalent
