• Overview:

The ideal candidate will develop Alteryx solutions, in a consultative role, involving:

•  
• Blending, cleansing, and enhancing data of any type, size, or source 
• Analyzing data using a broad array of prescriptive, statistical, predictive, and spatial tools 
• Sharing data, insight, and analytics via apps, API's, and visualizations in public and private clouds 

Key Responsibilities: 

•  
• Work with clients to transform business needs into technical requirements, estimate level of effort, develop and implement solutions, document process flows, and mentor clients on methodology and use of delivered solutions.
• Comprehend, blend, enrich, and analyze structured, unstructured, and geospatial data.
• Develop methods to analyze and identify patterns or trends within and across datasets.
• Design and develop reports, visualizations, and dashboards to present findings and results.
• Effectively communicate to all levels of an organization (both internally and externally).
• Achieve expert competency on Alteryx tools.
•  

Knowledge/Skills:

•  
• Business intelligence; in particular, databases, data quality, ETL, and reporting tools.
• Mathematical, statistical, financial, quantitative, and/or spatial modeling for complex business decisions (e.g. retail and restaurant real estate site selection).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Project management principles.

Additional Considerations:

•  
• Knowledge of Alteryx is a must
• Experience using statistical programming tools such as R, SAS, and SPSS is a plus.
• Experience using dashboarding tools such as Tableau is a plus.
• Experience using SQL or similar technology; shell scripts, Perl, or related is a plus.
• Experience using GIS applications such as ArcGIS or MapInfo is a plus.

Education/Experience:

•  
• Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree is a plus.
• At least five years of experience deploying business intelligence and/or analytics solutions.
• Experience in a customer-facing and consultative environment.
