Role: Sr OBIEE Consultant

Location: Johns Creek, GA

Duration: 6 Months +

Primary responsibilities include:

•             Design, develop and tune OBIEE reports/dashboards/analytics to meet business requirements

•             Serve as a subject matter expert for OBIEE, demonstrating expertise in Oracle BI Interactive Dashboard, Oracle BI Publisher and OBIEE Performance tuning

•             Closely work with business analysts to identify and understand business requirements

•             Analyze possible reporting alternatives in relationship to business need, costs, effectiveness, and information availability requirements

•             Create and configure metadata objects, develop a strong understanding of user reporting needs and implement OBIEE based solutions

•             Work with ETL developers to determine report design strategies

•             Develop and implement application documentation and training materials

Requirements:

•             5+ years of experience in developing reports/dashboards/analytics using the Oracle BI suite - OBIEE 10g/11g, BI Publisher and preferably ODI (Oracle Data Integrator)

•             5+ years of experience in troubleshooting and testing using SQL based tools and relational databases

•             5+ years of relational database experience, data modeling knowledge with hands on SQL experience

•             Basic understanding of technical components of ETL, data models and ETL programming

•             Experience in software analysis, design, development, configuration, customization, validation and deployment

•             Ability to translate business requirements/mock-ups into technical requirements

•             Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with limited direction

•             Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross functional team

•             Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders
