Position: QA Tester with Selenium exp [GC/Citizens]
Location: Richardson, TX. [Locals Only]
Duration: 12+ Month On-Site contract plus extension

Interview mode: Phone.

Job Description:
• Develops, publishes and implements test plans.
• Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
• Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needs.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Consults with development staff in resolution of problems. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
• Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.
• Maintains documentation of test results and execution.
• Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
• Relies on prior experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• May provide assistance for consultation on complex projects and is considered to be a valuable and knowledgeable contributor/specialist.
• Assists with development of quality assurance standards.
• Code, maintain and execute automated test scripts. May also be required to design automated test scripts based on the project.
• Assist with preparing reports and documentation updates.

Qualification/Requirements:
• Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
• Prior experience working in Windows, UNIX and/or Solaris environments.
• Basic SQL skills are required.
• Prior experience working in projects using Agile or Waterfall methodology, Agile iteration and user stories is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in directly applicable functional QA role
• 2 years work experience of Java is required. Prior experience with JUnit is a plus.
• 3 years experience in automated function testing using tool such as Selenium or equivalent is required.
• Prior experience with enterprise ERP systems (high-volume transaction processing) is preferred

Educational Requirements:
• 4 year Bachelor of Science degree required in a related field, such as math, statistics, computer science, business administration or engineering OR 4 year degree in any field in combination with related work experience in an Information Technology field..
