Position

Summary

We are seeking a cloud engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience to join the data analytics team. The candidate must have experience in deploying and monitoring SaaS offerings in a Hadoop cluster.

Responsibilities

·         Operating cloud services;

·         Troubleshooting problems in distributed environment;

·         Automating cloud deployment procedures;

·         Capacity planning analysis of distributed systems;

·         Developing tools and processes to manage and monitor SaaS offerings;

·         Installing, configuring and administering Hadoop cluster;

·         Implementing data security policies in Hadoop cluster;

Desired Skills

& Experience

·         In-depth knowledge of the OpenStack framework;

·         In-depth knowledge of virtualization technology concepts;

·         Practical experience with installing and administering Hadoop clusters;

·         Practical experience with Linux administration and shell scripting;

·         Practical experience with Network administration;

·         In-depth knowledge on a scripting language such as Python;

·         B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is required.
