We are looking for a Java Developer to support world's leader in providing IT consulting and software services to the finest global organizations client.

This is 2 months Contract extendible Position based in Austin, TX.

Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Austin, TX

Duration: 3 -6 months Contract

Experience: 5 +years

Qualifications

·         Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities

·         Develop services and tools in Java and Spring supporting millions of consumers

·         Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure

·         Develop standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information

Job Description:

·         2-5 years demonstrated experience with n-tier web application development and experience in latest JDK and earlier releases. Must be able to articulate experience with many of the major Java APIS (e.g. JMS, JPA, JNDI, EJB, RMI, JAX, etc.); 

·         J2EE certification a Plus

·         2+ years' experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate and SQL

·         Demonstrated ability to solve complex software development/design issues using clean, coherent code following established coding guidelines

·         Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)

·         Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills (Required)

·         Experience with web services standards and related technologies (XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, WS*, AXIS)

·         Demonstrated ability to solve complex software development/design issues using clean, coherent code following established coding guidelines

·         Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills along with effective communication
