Title: WebSphere Admin

Location: Somerset, NJ or Raleigh/Durham, NC

Duration: 6Months

Client  is planning to migrate their applications from WebSphere Application Server (WAS) version 6.1 to the current version, 8.5.5.  The SOW is to assist with planning the refactoring and migration of its applications, infrastructure, and operations.  It will include a review of 8 representative applications.  This assessment is highly complex and we will have a very tight schedule.  

Skills: 10+ yrs of WAS Development and JEE and Architecture

a)        Review the current applications, their architecture, and recommend any refactoring

b)        Review the current infrastructure architecture and recommend the target topology

c)        Review the current operations practices and recommend any refactoring for the selected 8 applications

Deliverable: Migration Report
