Job description:
· In-depth understanding of Enterprise SAN and NAS technologies including:
§ FC networking, zoning, masking
§ Storage replication management
§ Provisioning block and file level storage
§ Host to storage interfaces; HBA and Multipathing configuration in ESX, Windows, Linux and Unix
§ Unified computing, converged networks
§ Storage performance management
§ SAN and NAS replication
· Working knowledge of at least 4 of the following storage products:
§ Dell Compellent
§ Dell Equalogic
§ EMC DMX
§ EMC NS-Series
§ IBM XIV
§ Brocade SAN switches
· Experience with 2-3 different storage management and monitoring tools
· 2-3 years of working as a storage operations lead in a medium to large environment (100+ hosts)
· Experience with new storage platform implementations and storage migrations
· Experience with managing storage replication and using it for Disaster Recovery
· Working knowledge of IBM TSM backup software (versions 5 and 6)
· Building new TSM environment
· Day to day backup management
· Managing different types of backup storage – disk, VTL, physical tape/library
· Backup replication and disaster recovery
· TSM migration and upgrade
