JOB TITLE: Sr. SAP Enterprise Architect

Primary Responsibilities: 
• Manages application portfolio information and drives Enterprise level strategic direction for assigned business unit or area(s). 
• Provide feedback for improvements in current enterprise architecture environment, help detect critical deficiencies and redundancies and recommend solutions for improvement. 
• Serves as an active member of the Enterprise Architecture team. Support Enterprise Architecture Governance Council functions and executes the relevant architectural processes for an assigned business area. 
• Conduct feasibility study of software requests submitted to Enterprise Architecture Governance Council and share the findings with Enterprise Architecture team in advance for an assigned business area. 
• Collaborate and work closely with software requestors and various enterprise architects across business units to conduct software fitness rating as per established Enterprise Architecture processes. 
• For an assigned business area, drive the enterprise software evaluation process and evaluate the software requests received from business units. 
• Support and facilitate training on request related to Enterprise Architecture Governance Council processes for an assigned business area. 
• Provides consulting support to Enterprise Architecture team with various other initiatives which are relevant to assigned business area. 
• Ensure all the review requests for business area are processed as per the established EA processes and recorded in Troux. 
• Participate in providing business requirements related to Troux enhancements. 
• Provide support to Enterprise Architecture team for continuous improvements. 
• Collaborate with demand management function to run feasibility studies, benefits and EA fitness assessment for ideas in the pipeline for an assigned business area. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders including Enterprise Architects across business units to drive various EA initiatives for an assigned business area. 

Requirements:  Need a SAP Enterprise Architect

• Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science, computer engineering or a related field of study. 
• TOGAF 9 Certification preferred but not needed
• Ten to 15 years of experience in at least two IT disciplines (such as enterprise architecture, technical architecture, network management, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations) in a multitier environment — or 15+ years of combined experience in IT applications related discipline and business analysis or business strategic planning. 
• Previous experience as an enterprise architect in a large global organization preferred. 
• Familiarity with basic information management practices. 
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments. 
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation. 
• Strong leadership skills. 
• Excellent analytical and technical skills. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Excellent planning and organizational skills. 
• Knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture. 
• Knowledge of all components of holistic application architecture on various platforms. 
• Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes. 
• Familiarity with basic graphical modeling approaches, tools and model repositories. 
• Ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions. 
• Ability to translate business needs into EA requirements. 
• Ability to estimate the financial impact of EA alternatives.
