| Under guidance of the Section Chief of the KIDS Application Development Section, this position performs advanced DB architecture work for the KIDS system. The KIDS DB architect: recommends and maintains data management policy; provides expert technical leadership to the applications development and technical staff; installs and maintains software on multiple mainframe platforms; plans, tests installs and updates software; and advises application development staff on the use of database software, database designs and data models, and is available for evening/weekend on-call duties. |
