  • Expert knowledge of network connectivity and topologies used in a large-scale environment
  • Strong understanding of wireless technology (Cisco, Symbol)
  • Strong understanding of LAN design and architecture
  • In depth knowledge and proven experience with network management, diagnostic and troubleshooting tools
  • Advanced technical, analytical, problem solving, multitasking, project management and time management skills with consistent attention to detail
  • Knowledgeable with advanced Cisco switching and routing technology
  • Expert knowledge with layer two networking
  • VLAN configuration
  • Nexus 2000, 5000 switch installation and configuration
  • SAN / NAS storage

Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical expertise for network design and operations on large-scale wide area network projects
  • Participating in planning, problem resolution and implementation
  • Providing clear communication on project activity status
  • Updating design diagrams, implementation plans, support procedures and similar technical documentation
