7+ years web development experience which includes the programming/ development of web applications

Experience with OpenSource frameworks

Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs. 

Determine and implement connectivity strategies for disparate platforms. 

Build interfaces using Rhapsody interface engine 

Program system interfaces based on real-time HL7 transactions within a healthcare setting 

Support communication protocols and standards for HL7, X12 and XML 

Proficient in Transact-SQL and/or PL-SQL coding including stored procedures, triggers, indexes, cursors, functions, etc. 

Design and develop interface solutions according to project scope, scalability, portability, and best development practices given constraints such as limited client resources, tight deadlines, and technical impediments. 

Development of interfaces including ADT's, Orders, Order Status Updates, Add-on Orders, Results, Charges and Transcription. This includes real-time interface spooling, archiving, traces, connectivity, client/server configuration, pseudo connections, routing, mapping, filtering, translations and error exception handling. 

Monitor integration engine performance, logs, databases, connections and disk usage 

Successfully apply modifications to existing interfaces to enhance functionality or improve integrity 

Ability to successfully perform integrated testing and moving the applicable test environment interface components to the production (live) environment adhering to formal change management requirements. 

Fundamental knowledge of network architecture (TCP/IP communication layer), servers, redundancy and clustering 

Work with Project Management and Business Analysis teams to translate interface requirements into a well-defined project scope. 

Demonstrate excellent analytical, logical reasoning, problem solving, verbal, written communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. This includes consistently providing accurate estimates. 

 

Bachelor's degree; 2 years of additional proven applicable experience may be substituted for education. 

5+ years of IT experience in IT or Healthcare experience 

3+ years' experience with HL7 Integration experience 

3+ years of experience working with Rhapsody, (Orion Health) 

Experience with Windows/Linux Server, Microsoft SQL Server environments 

Experience with networking and remote connectivity 

Experience with web service programming preferred 

Experience with interface connectivity methods such as HL7 socket communications, FTP file transfers, screen and printer scraping, and internet delivery. 

Experience leading medium scale enterprise wide projects to successful completion 

Travel Requirements – preferably local or in close proximity to Naples, FL 

Experience with COBOL, AS/400, and Mainframe is a plu

 

The selected candidate will work beside and help mentor 2 AS/400 Systems Administrators on the team. 

Ideal candidate will have AS/400 experience monitoring systems and operating systems as an AS/400 systems administrator. 

There will be on-call responsibilities with this role, but in a secondary or tertiary backup capacity each weekend. 

This person should enjoy being a doer and having their "fingers on the keyboard".

 

 

You are an experienced engineer with recent significant experience of private cloud deployments. You will have strong knowledge and practical experience of engineering systems for deployment at enterprise scale: 

Broad knowledge of data center, virtualization, and cloud technologies & associated best practices 

Hands on experience of implementing cloud services, with Openstack

Experience working with Virtualization technologies and architectures, based on VMWare ESXi & KVM

Strong coding skills in Python, with emphasis on writing modular, scalable code 

Familiarity with API web service design 

Solid Unix / Linux skills - Encompassing shell scripting, Perl, Puppet 

Excellent verbal communication, analytical skill and critical thinking 

Experience of HP CSA is highly desirable 

PaaS experience is desirable
