Perform and monitor design, development and testing in construction of an Android and Web based application. Responsibilities include building new features, automated unit testing, providing architecture and development guidance to less experienced Java developers and assist in guiding framework design.                                                                                                                  

Key Responsibilities

?              Work as part of a development team

?              Assist team in developing schedules

?              Development of platform features

?              Integration of features with Android toolsets(s)

?              Build prototypes and system components

?              Assist in platform design and architecture

?              Share expertise and guidance with the team

?              Research and recommendations on enhancements and features

?              Analysis of current features and processes, recommendations yielding a more effective product

?              Design and build unit tests

?              Perform unit tests and integration testing

?              Take ownership of the product

?              Assist Software Quality team during platform validation

?              Provide Java and Android development guidance to team members

?              Assist team in product support, review and analysis of early experience results

?              Take part in peer reviews

Technical or Specialized Skills Required

Management & Leadership Experience

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree in a computer related field

5+ years software development experience

3+ years Java experience

Experience with Android development a plus

Previous experience in the medical industry a plus
