Network Access Control Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is our direct-client opening for a Network Access Control Engineer located in San Francisco, CA. This is a 6+ month contract and our client is looking to hire a candidate ASAP.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

• Designing and deploying Network Access Control (NAC) solution for Wired, Wireless LAN and VPN environments.
• Configuring routers, switches, and infrastructure supporting servers, appliances, and equipment.
• Collaborating on task across the Enterprise, especially with network, desktop and security teams.
• Identifying and recommending hardware, software, maintenance, and other infrastructure services for procurement.
• Writing detailed project design, specification, implementation, test, and support documents.
• Participation in change management process.
• Communicate with senior management regarding the project status and deliverables.

 
REQUIRED SKILLS:
 

• Experience with Network Access Control products from Aruba (ClearPass), Forescout, Bradford or Cisco.
• Thorough understanding of NAC deployments and challenges encountered.
• Thorough understanding of network security and desktop encryption tools/technologies as well as Mobile device management.
• Experience with SSO, dual-factor authentication.
• Familiarity with virtualized server (via VMWare) and network environments
• Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as required.
• Experience with Aruba wireless technologies and infrastructure.
• Experience with Juniper VPN technologies and infrastructure.
• Experience with Cisco as well as Juniper networking devices for integration with NAC solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross functional team of desktop engineering, network, access control and security teams.
