Again must be closer to St. Louis in case of F2F
Interview will be phone/skype/Possible F2F- paid by candidate.
Role will act as a mentor to other software developers on the team and provide input on the technology and tools that are used.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for the user interface, the business layer backend development and working with the architect.
Key Responsibilities
? Perform analysis, design, prototype, implementation, unit and integration testing, deployment and support of assigned projects with limited guidance.
? Analyze system specifications and translate system requirements to task specifications for associate and software engineers.
? Facilitate and review software requirements along with Business Analyst/Project manager to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
? Assist with development planning and coordinating implementation activities.
? Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs and designing solutions to problematic programming.
? Participate in design and code reviews.
? Provide instruction and guidance to less experienced team members on new tasks and assignments.
? Conduct structured technical and functional walkthroughs of specifications and programming logic.
? Consult with internal customers concerning maintenance of applications.
? Other duties as deemed necessary to ensure high quality service.

Technical or Specialized Skills Required
? Proficient understanding of ASP.NET, .NET 4.0, Entity Framework, SQL Server 2008/2010, web architecture and Team Foundation Server.
? Familiar with HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript and developing cross-browser secure and compatible websites.
? Experience with the following is a plus: MVC, MVP, SQL Server Reporting Services, jQuery and AJAX.
? Must be good with problem solving
