This individual will be the primary distributed technical lead for a specific product. 

This individual is responsible for all technical aspects of the project (including environment setup, code compilation and deployment, configuration, defect follow up, customization and training where necessary). 

On deployments where project managers are present, this individual will support the project manager to ensure that deployments take Gold code "from the shelf" and implement it with limited local customization. 

If no project manager is available the individual may assume some of the project management responsibilities. 

This individual will report to the Project Manager or Resource Manager. 

 

Provide design solution for business requirements ensuring the technical design conforms to standards

Coordinate GRV code deployment

Provide design solution for business requirements ensuring the technical design conforms to SWH standards

Participate in the design solution for any local enhancement to ensure adherence to SWH standards with a view to potential eligibility for globalization

Create and maintain technical documentation

Co-ordinate mid-tier software installs

Supply technical requirements to DBA, WAS, MQ, EAI and ADAM teams

Oversee / trouble-shoot environment shakedown

Consult with business partners or regional IT teams for application configuration

Knowledge in Data Warehouse concepts, Red Hat Linux, UNIX, DB2, WAS, Control M, and Websphere

Good command of SQL

Review local code changes and batch schedules

Knowledge with data extraction and transformation tool

Conduct connectivity tests, performance tests and other tests as deemed necessary

Oversee script execution and defect resolution as defined by project scope

Knowledge in SWH Engineering principles

Consult with business for application configuration

Work with Product Manager to include defect resolution /enhancements for a future release   

Bachelor's Degree – with a desire to work in an information systems environment. 

5-7 years of demonstrated design and development experience with the PeopleSoft applications. Should be very proficient in PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode (procedural, object oriented and application packages), Application Engine and Workflow. 

Knowledge and experience in designing and developing interfaces using PeopleSoft Integration technologies. 

Sound understanding of PeopleSoft CRM's Support, Field Service, Customer Data Model (CDM), Business Object Relationship Model (BORM) and Common modules. 

Strong database related development skills including Oracle PL/SQL. 

Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment. 

Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. 

Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Develop SSAS cubes of high complexity to fulfill  all the business requirements and high level design. 

Write MDX scripts to support the design for various 'measures'. 

Help BI architect in the Design of SSAS Cube 

Analyze and validate data to ensure business requirements are met   

Fix defects on the existing production application. 

Support delivery and deployment of defined technical solutions. 

Communicate accurate and timely project status, issues, risks and scope changes to the Tech Lead 

 

8-10  years of total experience with at least five years of SSAS development experience to include the following:

Experience in developing SSAS cubes of medium to high levels of complexity in SQL server 2008/2012

Very good in MDX scripting

The selected candidate will work beside and help mentor 2 AS/400 Systems Administrators on the team. 

Ideal candidate will have AS/400 experience monitoring systems and operating systems as an AS/400 systems administrator. 

There will be on-call responsibilities with this role, but in a secondary or tertiary backup capacity each weekend. 

This person should enjoy being a doer and having their "fingers on the keyboard".

Candidates are expected to be fluent in PHP5, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, as well as having a strong grasp and interest in the Web 2.0 philosophy.
