Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN Switching, Routing and Routing Protocols
Technical expertise in all areas of network interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, L2/L3 switches, WAN accelerators, load balancers, Riverbed Technologies.
Experience with Cisco Nexus 1000v/5000 and 7000 Series Switch installation, system architectures, chassis, and components(OTV, LISP, VDC, VRFs ).
Experience with configuration of Ethernet port channels and virtual port channels (vPC) and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) protocol on Cisco Nexus 5000 and 7000 Series Switches.
Experience and in depth hands-on knowledge of network/ internet protocols/ services, such as DS3, T1, GigE, OSPF, EIGRP, BOP, DNS, and IPSec.
Expert knowledge of Firewalls, Access Lists, NAT, VPNs and Network Security

Demonstrated design and implementation experience in CISCO CUCM and Unity Voice Messaging
A strong understanding of dial plan schemes, trunking, transmissions and reporting of trunking and capacity metrics are a required.
Ability to adapt various systems to a converged technology platform is required (i.e. convert a legacy TDM site to an IPT site)
Extensive knowledge in VoIP transport such as, gateway configuration MGCP,H.323, SIP, Inter Cluster Trunking, Call
Admission and Control mechanisms, centralization of call processing and Trunking services and network policy enforcement (i.e. QoS).
