Job Description:
The resource will be primarily responsible for triaging production defects/issues within our mobile application and supporting infrastructure. Experience required:
- 2+ years of experience working in a L3/production support role under a high pressure/intense environment running a customer-facing application serving millions of customers
- 2+ years of experience developing and supporting a Java application stack (e.g. WebLogic, WebSphere, and Oracle DB)
- 3+ years of Unix/Linux experience
- Ability to communicate extremely well (both oral and written) across all levels (i.e. with other developers, testers, analysts, business customers, and senior management)
- Very technical with exceptional problem solving/troubleshooting abilities
- Able to follow/adhere to a previously defined/established processes or develop/define new processes when one doesn't exist
- Familiarity with mobile technologies including iOS/Android and REST API development
- Prior experience as a technical lead for a medium to large size software project
- Enjoys finding software bugs and writing code to fix them (experience writing unit tests a plus)
- Able to identify opportunities to automate routine tasks and code/develop scripts to achieve the same
Provides team or technical supervision and drives project/service delivery. Performs as technical lead on software development projects with responsibility for overall delivery of software components. Documents design decisions, adheres to existing process guidelines, develops software components, mentors junior developers, supports QA during testing, and has oversight during implementation into production.
Responsibilities:
Converts specifications about business problems into programming instructions. Designs and codes programs; creates test transactions and runs tests; revises as necessary.
Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development and implementation of application systems.
Reviews, analyses, and modifies programming systems, including encoding, testing, debugging and installing for a large-scale system. Maintains records to document program development and revisions.
Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science
8+ Years' experience in Application development
4 Year experience as Senior Developer on IT Projects
Experience with Account Analysis applications.
Familiarity with commercial banking concepts is desired
Mobile development experience (iPhone, Android)
