Austin, TX has an immediate opening for an "AIX Infrastructure Admin with Customer Care and Billing (CC&B)." This is a contract position, with extensions being highly likely.
REQUIREMENTS:
· 8 years - administrating and configuring CPU, memory, operating system, storage and network resources for IBM AIX environments on Power 5/6/7 Series platforms
· 8 years - installing and deploying complex application solutions on AIX platforms leveraging virtual capabilities (LPAR, VIO) for compute and disk storage components
· working with Oracle's Customer Care & Billing system
· performance tuning AIX environment to optimize batch processing
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead in the performance tuning of the IBM AIX environment for a Customer Care & Billing application
· Collaborate with other project and technical staff to optimize the subject environment per business requirements and technology standards
