Required skills, abilities, and certifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Good knowledge of SQL, Netezza, Linux, SAP, Oracle and OLAP.
- Knowledge and direct experience using Business Intelligence reporting tools. (Cognos)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
- Proven and successful implementations of IBM Cognos
- Thorough knowledge of database design including relational database design and iSeries native and SQL database design
- Experience implementing solutions on multiple hardware platforms and operating systems
- Must be self-motivated, responsible, conscientious, and detail oriented. Proven ability to follow priorities and timelines
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
