Sales Order Management Business Analyst with one of our leading client based in Minneapolis, MN and the duration is Long term.  

With at least 12-15 years of work Experience 

LOCATION: MINNEAPOLIS, MN

LONG TERM PROJECT

Main Job Duties/Responsibilities:

•        Responsible for process design for sales order management solutions from an IT perspective.

•        Lead complex business requirement discussions. Gather, evaluate and document customer business needs and requirements and translate these into functional specifications.

•        Support feasibility studies, project assessments & initiation (scoping, risk management and estimation).

•        Participates in project and design reviews to evaluate and ensure that the design being applied meets policies, principles, and standards.

•        Taking ownership of core business processes from an IT perspective

•        Responsible to drive changes and enhancements through the change management process, including project management, communication with stakeholders, users and developers, performing functional unit tests, coordinating user acceptance testing, cutover tasks and hypercare support.

•        Responsible for design and configuration of modules and features for sales order management. Duties include performing diagnostics, resolution of technical integration and performance issues and communicating with business and vendor resources to complete projects.

•        Align & communicate with senior management and executives as the subject matter expert;

•        Demonstrate software in the context of business requirements and value proposition.

•        Organize / facilitate functional workshops and education sessions

•        Develop product and domain knowledge / expertise.

•        Analyze and help resolve software related issues from the support team and recommend solutions.

•        Must possess self-motivation, enthusiasm, and positive attitude and perform as a team player.

Job Experience

•        Five - six years of relevant experience in job offered or a similar role in sales order management applications or in software professional services/consulting

•        Strong background in SAP SD module (sales order management, pricing, billing)

•        Experience with business processes in sales order management related domain areas

•        Work experience in application implementation in sales order management or related domain areas

•        Demonstrated experience in high-level assessments, fit-gap analysis and blueprinting

•        Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting and challenging business requirements

•        Experience with off shore development      

Skills/Competencies

•        SAP – 3rd party applications integrations

•        Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

•        Ability to develop effective relationships with business users, technical staff and executive management

•        Ability to combine strategic thinking with  operational activities

•        Fast learner with the ability to quickly master new applications and develop domain knowledge

•        Strong client facing and presentation skills

•        Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a high-energy and fast-paced environment

•        Passion to contribute to high-quality services and solutions

•        Team player comfortable to work in an international and culturally diverse team

•        Willing and able to travel on occasion (5-10%)            

Specialized Knowledge Required           

3+ years' experience in one or more of the following areas:

•        Order Management (SAP SM)

•        Billing (SAP SM)

•        Integration (e.g., Web Methods)

SAP SD Configuration:

•        Pricing Procedure Configuration

•        Output Determination

•        Copying Controls

•        Item Category Assignment

•        Partner Determination

•        Taxes

•        IDOC messaging/enhancements

•        Supporting SD Master Data

o   Customer Master

o   Material Master

o   Pricing Condition Records

o   All relevant tables supporting the Order to Cash Process

Knowledge/Education

•        Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology related

•        Training on SAP SD and one other SAP module

•        Order to Cash business process expert

Preferences

•        Previous working experiences within Life Sciences environment would be preferable but is not a requirement

•        Master's degree is a plus (in relevant area)
