Sr. Performance Tester

Technical/Functional Skills/Must Have Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of HP ALM, LoadRunner, SiteScope, JMeter, and other related tools, development methodologies and defect management practices
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to use and describe technical information
  • Works collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve problems
  • Good organizational skills coupled with a detail-oriented approach to testing
  • Ability to evaluate automation test scripts and test results
  • Understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies
  • Excellent understanding of system development life cycle and project management lifecycle
  • Excellent understanding of automation testing process
  • Retail Banking Domain Is Mandatory

Experience Required

8 Years

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Test software and systems for performance integrity and analyze results of production performance simulations
  • Verify that the capacity of production environments meets client expectations
  • Provide recommendations to improve the production performance of applications
  • Work collaboratively with technology teams and key stakeholders from all disciplines to design and create test plans, test data, automated test scripts, and test scenarios
  • Process and analyze large data sets, provide reporting for distribution to key stakeholders, and make recommendations based on analysis
  • Research technology trends and bring a breadth of performance testing experience and best practices to the company
  • Execute load and stress tests while assuring quality of and adherence to system/software product standards processes and procedures
  • Attain an understanding of the business applications, architecture and underlying components and technologies necessary to ensure systems are performing at acceptable performance and resource utilization levels
  • Install, configure, maintain performance testing solutions and monitoring tools

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, Critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills including ability to lead problem-solving discussions
