Location : Houston, TX
Duration 6+ months

Job description :

 Knowledge on windows and VMware infrastructure

 server Strong Knowledge of Troubleshooting skills on Windows (Blue Screen Errors, performance issues, permissions issues)

 Extensive hands on knowledge of Windows 2003/2008 Servers, HP ,Dell and IBM H/w

 Excellent troubleshooting skills in an enterprise wide Citrix Farm

 Citrix server monitoring – server availability, IMA traffic, usage, load balancing etc.

 Citrix Printer Server Management

 Knowledge on server management tools

 Working knowledge of VMware host and Guest OS management skills

 Working experience of active directory 2003/2008, DNS, DHCP, IP sub netting, VMware ESX 4.x, 5.x and vSphere 5.x

 Working experience of assessing Windows/Exchange infrastructure

 Working experience of assessing VMWare ESX 4.x, 5.x and vSphere 5.x infrastructure

 Working closely with the network consultant for getting the IP range etc. for Windows/VMware environment and sorting out issues in case of conflicts

 Impact analysis and planning/ensuring successful change implementation of IP address change on Windows environment as well as overall IT infrastructure including Exchange, File/Print server, Lync, proxy, WSUS, SCCM, NetBackup, FTP etc.

 Documentation of Windows/VMware infrastructure Server details including current IP address and Future IP address etc.

 Closely working with business analyst/other stake holders as necessary

 Provide briefings on current Windows and VMWare infrastructure to Sr. Windows and Sr. VMWare Engineer and train them for successful IP change implementation

 Impact analysis and planning/ensuring successful change implementation of IP address change on VMWare ESX 4.x, 5.x and vSphere 5.x environment as well as overall IT infrastructure

 Deep level problem solvingtroubleshooting and  Windows as well as VMware environments skills on
