Description
The purpose of this solicitation is to hire an experienced application developer with strong skills in ETL Processes with a focus on SSIS, SSRS, and T-SQL. Also required are experience with SQL Server 2008, logical data models and some working experience of SSAS. A solid understanding of the .NET and ASP.NET application development models is a Must. This resource would work together with the existing staff that includes an Associate Director, a Sr. Business Systems Analyst, a Sr. Web Application Developer, and a Sr. Data Base Administrator. Other technical resources are available as needed to provide support and direction.
Essentials Skills required
§ Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience using extract, transformation, and load processes using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Reporting Services.
§ Environment leverages Microsoft's .NET framework so a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working in the .NET environment with SQL Server 2008 is required.
§ A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working with logical data models is required and some working knowledge of SQL Server Analysis Services.
§ A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience working with the .NET and ASP.NET application development technology is required.
Responsibilities
§ The Application Developer is expected to work well in a team environment to support and supplement the existing development activities.
§ This resource must be able to design, develop, test and implement the various files being created and received.
§ The Application Developer is expected to go from design to implementation supporting the various files being created and received in our existing production environment and the web application development activities required.
§ The application developer must have the ability to create documentation.
§ Interviews of proposed candidates will be conducted by project and State staff
