Requirements:
Senior-level system administration of Linux, Apache, Tomcat & RDBMS servers
Experience working with IT infrastructure services associated with knowledge of Compute, Storage, Network and Databases
Experience working on automation tools like Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Maven, AppZero etc
Knowledge of server provisioning & troubleshooting
Managing and monitoring applications
Experience implementing end to end security controls
Documents network environments as built
Documents everything for repeatable processes
Experience with best practices and developing operational processes
Takes ownership of issues and sees them through to completion
Proven experience working through road-blocks and around limitations
Openly communicates clearly, succinctly and completely
Customer focused
Nice to Have:
Experience working in a hybrid cloud environment (some machines local and some in the cloud)
Experience Migrating on premise applications (VMware) to cloud platforms (AWS)
AWS SysOps, AWS Architecture, AWS Development, Cloud Migration, Cloud Automation
Experience creating VPCs with associated Network ACLs and Security Groups
Estimating cloud usage costs and identifying operational cost control mechanisms
Experience with VMware administration through VCenter, MySQL, Galera Cluster, Hybris, PostgresQL, PGPool, Apache Solr
System Architecture and Network Architecture experience
