We are looking for an IMA Architect for a contract position with one of our leading clients in Vienna, VA
-Our client is seeking an enterprise architect with technical experience in the areas of Identity and Access Management and Role-Based Access Control.
-The candidate will work with a cross-disciplinary project team, including computer and information security staff and HR business representatives, to recommend the best high-level approach to implementing an updated scheme for representing employee, position, and organizational role information across the company.
-The project will also encompass designing an updated employee directory.
-This person will be expected to have expertise and the ability to recommend best-practices pertaining to the creation and provisioning of role-based security.
-The candidate will work with senior executives, internal Architects and technical staff to develop high level solutions and a roadmap for how best to migrate existing employee, position and role information to any new solutions.
-They should have real-world experience with creating or implementing schemes to represent employees and roles in companies.
-The ideal candidate will also have a background in the financial industry, have some knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft and be able to provide guidance on how best to integrate employee, position and/or role schemes with PeopleSoft for use by our HR department.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Proven experience working in the area of Identity and Access Management (IAM), with particular knowledge in the areas of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Role-Based Access Control
-Experience and familiarity with various schemes for representing employee, position, or role information in a large corporation
-Familiarity with HR business functions and systems
-Experience working as a business and/or domain architect in support of the above areas
-Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including experience in communicating complex technical terms to non-technical audiences
-Demonstrated ability to lead, guide, and mentor others
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
-Background in the financial industry and knowledge of the typical functions performed by a bank or credit union
-Experience with PeopleSoft
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Help identify the current-state of how employee identities are used across the company
-Create stakeholder and capability analyses to capture what each related business area is trying to achieve
-Provide domain expertise relating to recent and relevant trends in Identity and Access Management
-Recommend a best-practice for specifying employee, position and role information, which will work in the clients architectural and regulatory environment
-Create deliverables to document a high-level approach and a roadmap to achieving any recommended changes
-Assistance with development and refinement of the vision for corporate Identity and Access Management
-Artifacts mapping the capabilities, stakeholders, architecture impacts, and business and technical risks associated with said vision
-Artifacts describing Current, Transition and End-state architectures
-Participation in internal program meetings to deliver these artifacts
-Presentation of artifacts and guidance to senior executives and technical staff
