Job Title: SSAS Developer
Location: Omaha, NE
Type: Contract – 6 month 

Interview:

1 interview with Manager and 2 Techs.

Duration: 6 month contract (could extend, the work is there, but they like to write the contracts in 6 month increments)

Project: Developing reports for the Operations Management Team. Will bring in data from various source systems and build reports using SSRS.

They are using SQL 2012 now and are working on an upgrade to 2014. They expect the candidates to have worked with SQL 2012.

Job Description:

•Support new and existing SQL reports

•Analyze and trouble-shoot technical issues related to existing reporting

•Troubleshoot data issues, validate result sets, recommend and implement process improvements

•Work with Business Analysts and functional teams to resolve incidents in a timely manner

•Communicate directly with customers regarding status of their support incidents

•Support upgrades to the environment and regression testing cycles

•Assist with the regular performance testing of reporting environments

Qualifications:

•3-5+ years' experience with Microsoft SSRS and SSIS Version 2008R2 or newer preferred (1+ year required)

•Experience with reporting models, table functions, and stored procedures

•Strong analytical skills

•Strong communication and team working skills

•Logical thinking

•Problem solving skills

•Strong SQL query capabilities

•Knowledge of building dashboard, scorecards, and KPIs

•Experience working with data warehousing concepts, terminology and architecture preferred

•Experience with ASP, ASP.NET and C# preferred

•Experience with Microsoft SSAS preferred
