Java Developer

Location: Foster City, CA

Duration - 12 months

Total Experience Required: 4-6 Years of experience

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:

a.       Strong experience with developing WebServices which are able to return huge volume of data to the requestor

b.      Strong WebService (preferably RESTful) development experience using Java. The WebServices have been designed to handle high requests per second (e.g., 100 to 1000 or more requests per second)

c.       Strong UNIX & database knowledge

d.      ETL & DW project experience

Key features needed in candidate profile:

1)      Experience with handling large data volumes using Java (Critical)

2)      Experience in Solr or Lucene

3)      Experience in developing Web services that processed through large, in-memory data sets

4)      Experience with in-memory processing using open source technologies

5)      Experience in Search Engine technologies

Soft Skill:

a.       Strong verbal, written & customer interaction skillset

b.      Ability to work with dynamic requirements

c.       Strong analytical & logical skill sets
