Job Title: SAP EDI Consultant

Location: Tennessee
Duration: 12 months
Rate: $50-55/hr inclusive

My client is in need of an SAP EDI Consultant:

Description:

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the daily processes for the our Specialty Health electronically transmitted documents; and the support of users and trading partners in EDI related issues and activities.

Responsibilities
1. Monitor daily EDI, XI and SAP IDoc processes; which includes data communications, file transfers, document processing and translation, and functional acknowledgment reconciliation.
2. Work with business units, trading partners and other technical groups to troubleshoot and resolve any EDI, XI or SAP IDoc related questions or issues.
3. Work with EDI Analysts as needed in the development, testing and roll-out of new documents and/or EDI/XI interface maps or configurations.
4. Attend weekly team meetings and provide status reporting.
5. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
1. Previous experience with EDI in an SAP environment.
2. Previous experience with EDI documents and ANSI X12 standards.
3. Previous experience with sFTP and AS2 transfer protocols desirable.
4. Knowledge of SAP/XI and Seeburger Adapter modules.
5. Knowledge of XI mapping and configuration.
6. Strong logical and analytical skills.
7. Strong data analysis skills.
8. Proficient in Microsoft applications.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
10. Detail oriented, reliable and self motivated.
11. Work with little supervision.
12. Work effectively in a team environment.
13. Previous experience in a customer service or help desk environment a plus.
