Role: ETL Teradata Developer

Location: Chicago, IL

Client: Wipro/True Value

·         Responsible for Data Warehouse Extract, Transform and Load (ETL), application development and maintenance.

·         Knowledge of temporal ( very important)

·         The job may also provide input to the database designer to optimize the data loading of the physical database.

·         Good understanding of SQL tuning process in Teradata.

·         Expert level knowledge of indexes and partitions in Teradata.

·         Specializes in building the applications as specified by the designer in the design documents. * Must have the skills necessary (Teradata SQL, Teradata Load Utilities and appropriate ETL Tool(s) to implement the design and in the specific tools that will be used to build the ECTL applications.

·         Expert level knowledge in BTEQ, TPT, Fast load Unix shell scripting including kshell, awk and sed.
