Job Description:

Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 2-4 years of experience.

5+ years of Linux Systems Engineering experience (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Solaris Operating systems

 4+ years of experience in production support, including problem identification, root cause analysis, ticket documentation, customer and vendor relations

4+ years of experience in building servers using Jumpstart and Kickstart with OS patching and upgrades experience.

Experience working with HP Servers and high end ORACLE hardware.

Experience and knowledge of automation tools like Chef, Ansible , RunDeck etc Advance knowledge of server virtualization technology in VMware and Cloud infrastructure

Knowledge of monitoring tools like Nagios/HPOV/Cacti/Graphite a plus

Experience with automated configuration and deployment management tools like Chef, Salt, Rundeck, Ansible

Strong experience in clustering solutions like Veritas and Sun Cluster Strong experience with Unix scripting (PHP, Perl or Ruby, Python, Bash)

Working knowledge of Java a plus Cloud computing experience on OpenStack a plus

In-depth knowledge of SAN, NAS with experience a plus Experience with JAVA and SQL performance tuning experience (e.g. garbage collection, heap management, JVM Configuration, explain plan, query optimization etc
