Job Description:
·5+ years of in-depth knowledge of and experience with the Informatica Power Center,Power Exchange, Data Profiling option as a designer & developer.
·Three to five years experience in data warehousing.
·High proficiency in understanding relational and dimensional data models. Familiarity with data modeling and associated tools.
·Experience with Oracle 10/11g or other RDBMS.
·Expert knowledge of structured query language (Oracle SQL) and PL/SQL including the use of SQL editors, stored procedures, database triggers and optimizing SQL statements.
·Proficient with AIX operating system and UNIX scripting.
·Strong strategic skills, the ability to lead in the adoption of ETL technologies, standards and best practices.
·Deductive logic, complex problem solving and excellent trouble shooting skills.
·Experience with COGNOS BI/ Report Net, Power play development is a plus.
·Experience with Informatica Web services / message queue option preferred.
·Experience with Mainframe VSAM files is a plus.
·Experience with XML and ACORD is a plus.
·Prefer working knowledge of the life insurance or financial services industry
