NX Mentor ( SME ) – Export Control- 1 yr- Cincinatti, OH

Relevant Experience(in Yrs)

8-10 Yrs.

Technical/Functional Skills

Must have hands-on experience working with NX 7.5 & beyond and capable to support & mentor NX CAD user community

·         Must be an US Citizen or a GC Resource.

·         Demonstration of knowledge and experience to all functional areas of NX CAD ( Subject Matter Expert )

·         Demonstration of knowledge and experienceto NX integration and use within Teamcenter

·         Demonstration of knowledge and experience to all design functions at GE, parts, assemblies, drawings, Freeform features, Sheet metal, WAVE, etc

·         Demonstration of knowledge and experiencetofunctional areas of NX CAM

·         Demonstration of knowledge and experienceto functional areas of NX CAE

·         Demonstration of knowledge and experienceto functions of NX Routing (Elect\Mech\Logic) and piping design

·         Demonstration of knowledge and experience, to NX Integration with some GE Custom applications (Ufunc apps)

·         Demonstration of knowledge and experiencetofunctional areas of PMI

·         Needs to know in detail level the technical functionality of Model Based Definition (MBD) to guide the discussions on how to leverage the functionalities.

·         Demonstration of knowledge and experienceto GD&T

Roles & Responsibilities

·         Developing & Presenting training material for NX to the User Community

·         Classroom training as well 1 on 1 training at users' desk for NX

·         Attend meetings and help define processes, best practices, & implementation plans for CAD user community

·         Support 3D parametric model process

·         Drive advanced CAD techniques in user community

·         Drive CAD Standards and educate team on industry standards

·         Updating or modifying current NX setup scripts and settings, as required sustaining robust CAD operating environment.

·         NX Integration with some GE 3rd Party applications (Ansys, Etc)

·         3rd party tools, BCT, CAE Analysis.

·         Automation of testing in NX

·         Familiarization and submission of issues, as required, with vendor support teams (e.g., Siemens PLM GTAC PR (Problem Report) process).

·         While all customization of NX productivity applications, there may be areas, such as perl scripts, or ufunc codes, or user tools, might need development or modification.

·         Executing test cases for future NX versions and documenting the test results.

Generic Managerial Skills

·         Ability to work independently; lead small teams focused on specific work streams of larger projects

·         Strong oral and written communication skills

·         Good Analytical skill, Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

·         Eagerness to mentor junior team members

·         Proficient use of Power Point presentation tool, and MS office tools.  Proven writing skills for mass communication. Ability to document use cases, requirements and relevant technical documentation.

·         Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills

·         Knowledge of six sigma is added advantage
