Database Engineer – Oracle Forms & Reports

Iowa City, IA

6+ months contract

Essential job responsibilities:

Typical work-related activities include:

·         Design, develop and maintain software solutions for various ACT products.

·         Author design documents using standard templates and design processes.

·         Create and execute unit tests to assure software quality.

·         Provide production support as needed.

·         Communicate efficiently and effectively with users regarding their program requirements, design and technical support.

·         Provide project time and task estimates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related area required; preferably in computer science or information systems Or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·         Oracle Forms and Reports

·         PL/SQL

·         Java

·         Linux

·         Manage multiple tasks
