Position :  SAP Basis Admin With 5-8 years retail experience

Location:   Jersy City, NJ

Duration:  12 Months+

Client  need for Basis security/ admin/ architect for an SAP Retail implementation.

Designs security roles for the SAP retail system.
Provides comprehensive SAP Security support for SAP production and non production systems
Responsible for the development and administration of user and role access for SAP environment.
Analyzes requirements for security role builds and build roles based on requirements.
Assists in the areas of issue troubleshooting and resolutions, maintenance, SAP security technologies and system architecture design.
Provides best practices guidance on all Security and Administration related

Installation, upgrades, patching, administration, system copies, performance tuning, and monitoring of SAP Merchandising for Retail EHP 6 / 7, SAP Business Warehouse 7.4 on HANA, Solution Manager 7.1, Process Orchestration 7.4.
Provide Basis technical support to ABAP developers, functional team, DBA, Help desk support personnel, and other support groups to resolve system issues.
Administering system schedules including Backups, downtime, client copies, and upgrades.
Prepare architectural design and specifications.

This position requires 5-8 years retail experience with knowledge of SAP with an emphasis on Security, including HANA, solution manager 7.1, BW/BI on HANA 7.4 and ECC.
Must demonstrate an expertise with ECC SAP Security
6+ years experience as SAP Basis Admin / Lead
3+ years experience in SAP solutions for Retail
3+ years experience managing multiple SAP environments, including Production
2+ years esposure to BW and HANA environments
