Job Title: Citrix Virtualization Engineer
Location : Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 6 months to 1 year
Required Skills: Citrix Xenapp 6.5, Windows 2008r2, Citrix Netscaler, Visual Basic Scripting, Powershell Scripting
Responsibilities
To maintain and enhance a 1200 External user Citrix Farm, initial Access is via Netscalers.
Monitor infrastructure and identify existing and potential problems, determine root cause and appropriate corrective actions to prevent future outages
Participation in regular DR tests as required by the business, perform regular maintenance, upgrades to the infrastructure to ensure a stable operating environment.
Execute changes as required by the business to provide additional services, enhancements, etc
The candidate will also be responsible for planning, potential packaging and deployment of new and updated applications to existing Citrix Servers.
The candidate will also assist in SFTP file transactions and scripting automation, to insure file transfers are successful and provide logging.
