Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Providence, RI
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
*MUST have ICD-10 experience
Job Description:
To be responsible for overseeing the completion of all business requirements defined for the ICD-10 program, ensure they are accurate, obtain required approvals, validate rightful owners and reporting hierarchy and develop risk scenarios and contingencies related to post production support
Required Skills:
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Review current business requirements for accuracy and completeness
Identify and confirm Business Owner and/or task delegates
Map business owners to corresponding group managers to identify Steer Group Members
Ensure proper reporting of key metrics are in place to monitor ICD-10 impacts
Identify risks scenarios and role plays which may have significant business impact and negative outside publicity
Coordinate ICD-10 Training and validate LMS access and provide reporting statistics of usage
Work with corporate communication to ensure proper ICD-10 messaging is being broadcast to appropriate communication channels
Assist in the planning of Steer group and Executive Steer Group meetings and follow-up actions
Provide additional support based on program demands Education and Experience
College degree with at least 8 years working in the health or related industries
Solid understanding of health insurance policies, procedures, and workflows
Experience bringing tasks to closure
Proactive and developing recommendations and thought leadership
Have a "get it done" attitude
Self-directed requiring little supervision
Experience in risk management
