Epic Clarity Report Writer – Tapestry

Location: Palo Alto, CA, United States

Hospital recruiting for Senior EPIC Clarity Reporting Analysts to support our continued growth.  Individuals with experience in Tapestry, Revenue Cycle HB / PB, Strategy, and Quality Improvement can be considered.  In these roles the individual is responsible for the design and the development of complex reporting solutions, working with team members, users, and others to triage requests, define requirements, design, develop and deploy high-quality reporting solutions that meet current and future foreseeable user needs utilizing SHC's tools and infrastructure.

·         Build strong working relationships with users and team members, including Directors and above.  Gains trust and respect of key users.

·         Work with End Users, Informatics, and others to define specifications and build reports that meet the user's needs.

·         Manage multiple independent complex activities.  Manage tasks, dependencies, and user/team expectations regarding scope and timeline of solution delivery.

·         Participates in, and effectively contributes to, project working groups with team members, users, analysts, clinicians, and SHC leadership.

·         Independently performs analysis, development, and testing of solutions.

·         Utilizes depth of reporting and tool specific expertise to recommend leading edge BI visualization designs to user that meet their expressed and unexpressed future needs.

·         Designs and develops dashboards and other innovative data visualization solutions using BI and reporting tools that enable user functionality with minimal on-going maintenance and post-production incidents.

·         Provides expertise in understanding and using SHC data models and systems, and acts as resource in the interpretation and use of data generated and utilized by users.

·         Participates in teams to define design and development standards and conduct peer reviews of solution designs.

·         Troubleshoots incidents surrounding supported solutions.

·         Tune performance of complex solutions (both queries and database structures).

·         Organizes and conducts regular project status sessions and design reviews leveraging appropriate project artifacts. 

·         Consistently contributes valuable input during design reviews of team member solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Experience:

·         5 or more years of progressively responsible work experience

·         Prefer hands-on implementation experience with the relevant Epic modules

·         2 years of experience in utilizing and managing SaaS applications and vendors

 Preferred Experience:

·         Epic Clarity - Data Model Tapestry Certified: 

·         2 years of Epic Report Writing experience

These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education, or licensure/certification. 

Position requires Advanced level Epic Certified Clarity - Tapestry Analyst for a full Tapestry implementation. Project deliverable include: working w/ Epic and client to determine requirements for all elements of 2014 Tapestry build (future state, workflow evaluation, build, production validation, training documentation, GoLive.)   

Preferred Qualification Critera

·         1 complete 2014 Tapestry implementation

·         Resource should be local to the Bay Area or be willing to relocate for the duration of the project.
