Job Title :  Firmware/Software Verification Engineer

 

Details:- (Example: test design, test procedures, test results, requirements etc.) • Participate in the formal execution of test procedures and follow the established processes prior to, during and after the test execution. • Understand and follow Quality System Processes applicable to the task at hand • Provide input to the project schedule for the assigned tasks. • Plan and execute on assigned tasks to meet the related project milestones. Monitor progress on these tasks continuously and pro-actively communicate any potential impact to the milestones. • Demonstrate proficiency in C / C++ programming. • Communicate effectively within and outside of the team to get the job done. Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for developing tests to support custom medical device applications by creating Test Design/Analysis and Test Implementation/Procedures for the verification of software requirements. Perform test execution and provide associated documentation. The position requires someone with the ability to work on cross-functional project teams comprised of software verification and development engineers, system engineers, human factor engineers and quality engineers.

 

Tasks include: -Read, analyze, understand product requirements -Design and execution of tests using Automated test tools and as well as Manual test development process for the verification of software requirements. -Establish and maintain traceability from software requirements to verification test design and implementation. -Assist the verification lead in workload planning and time estimation. -Participate in the technical review of software requirements. -Participate in the technical review of peer verification test development. -Interface with software development engineers on software implementation. -Perform test execution and participate in the review of peer test execution. -Assist development team on debugging and solving issues discovered during test. Operate electronics testing equipment documentation. -Prepare, review, submit, and maintain project/product Qualifications: -Proficiency with C, C++ -Familiarity and understanding with Windows -Familiarity and understanding with Visual Studio -Demonstrated ability to test, analyze, and solve technical problems -Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall software development methods. -Good organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication.
